It is with great joy that I present you with the fifth edition of blogof.francescomugnai.com!
As you will have noticed, I have chosen to design a layout that is much simpler and linear than the previous one. I have reduced the structure to the bone, eliminating annoying and useless elements, and leaving more space to the contents.
I tried, as always, to give the theme a very personal touch, creating something original and introducing several truly interesting functions.
The news that I care most about is the navigation, which has been completely redesigned and studied to function based on the popularity of the post.
To the top right, you can actually choose to see the last posts, surf through the “cool” ones (which have been seen by thousands of people), and the posts that are “on fire,” which, obviously are the most clicked on at the moment. Enough tags and boring archives, now I show you only the interesting posts and the posts that you like! Pure inspiration!

You will also notice that the homepage has also been completely revolutionized. Now we find, besides the news just mentioned, a couple of interesting posts and some categories to begin the navigation as well as a brief biography of myself. :) Then I deliberately reduced the number of sponsors to try to provide you with a “cleaner” layout, without too many flashing banners (although, for obvious reasons, I can not totally eliminate commercials).
I will soon introduce other innovations (such as the mobile version) and many other goodies that are “hidden” within the pages but I will not spoil the fun of finding them on your own … so have fun and let me know what you think!
