  DMG is a Disc Image file on Mac OS. You can mount it and it behaves like a seperate drive. Typically applications come in this kind of “package”.

I was so confused when I first got my mac and didn’t know what to do with the DMG file. Now looking back I see how simple stupid it is and feel so silly for not being able to figure it out!

Hi folks,
is it possible to create instead of an DMG a CD/DVD, that looks/behave like that? IÂ´ve got here an old WOW-Installler-CD and it looks pretty cool when I insert it.

actually most of mac dmgs are beautiful, but I like diner dash dmg :D
