I think it’s becasue it’s a rebellious and sacrilegious nature to put a sticker on a mac, I would never even think of doing that to my mac, but my last pc laptop I had no problem sticking hundreds of stickers on it. Stickers on mac is a rarity, and those who don’t care about the mac look are saying something. Of course after looking at these it seems like for the most part they are all saying the same thing.

[Humor]They only show Apple because an AppLeptop costs CHF 1′400.00. So it’s remarkably ignorant to the value, er… price tag of that thing to ruin it with cheap stickers.
Nobody would care if anyone would put stickers on a “normal” laptop. It’s like putting a “Baby on Board” or “I’ve been in [tourist trap]” on a hatchback. Put that on a Ferrari or other expensive car and see the reactions. :-)

I hate to say it but, you don’t have 60 different laptops in there. I know, because three of the photos are of my laptop (http://www.flickr.com/photos/thevoicewithin/2218440756/ et al)! It turns out I also know a fair few of the people whose laptops are in the list.
The reason (for me anyway) for putting the stickers on the laptop is to make it a little bit different from everyone elses. When everyone you know has one, it’s nice to make yours a little different from the rest.
That said, I’ve had two Macs since the one that’s up in the photos I’ve put up there and I haven’t stickered either of them. Who knows why…

Thanks for the comment! I love getting feedback from the creators of sites or different works listed in my posts. Usually, when I put a number in the title of a post, it references unique sites and not duplicates (e.g., my series on business cards). In this case, though, I’ve simply listed my flickr bookmarks without being quite so strict because I wanted a post that would fall under more the “inspiration†category than “best of†(and actually, in the title, I don’t talk about the best, just laptops “plastered†with stickers). I listed only the ones that I liked, so if your laptop appeared more than once, I would say that you’ve done a particularly good job!

Those are awesome! My laptop, though it is not an Apple, also has some stickers on it, but now I want more.
I prefer the phrase “sticker-encrusted.”
Some of the sticker a very tight. When I get my MacBook I will give you guess a call.
