30 of the coolest church websites

Maybe you didn’t know but there are amazing church and religious websites out there for you to visit.
I have to say that in europe (where i live) we don’t have such great websites about this topic so it can be a real surprise for other people from the old country.

Inspiration for every web designer.

Nice list. It's funny how some churches have better websites than some companies :)

By what criteria are these the best web sites? Usability, or? Some of these sites sure look great, but in terms of web usability conventions leave much to be desired.

Totally agree, flash looking sites but in terms of where the web is heading and building community through their sites they really do need a fair bit of improving.

I agree with both of you but, as i said before, it’s pretty strange for an european like me to see nice church websites.
So, this is a collection about the “most coolest” and not about the usability and the accesibility.
      Just well designed sites.

Point well taken, Francesco. But I would encourage you to think of design in terms of functional looks with intent that meet the usability goals of the site. Any part of the look of the site that is without purpose will likely affect the design negatively.
