Thanks for posting this compilation. I believe that info-graphics are some of the most challenging types of art out there because they must serve a wide audience for multiple purposes.

I would think that the implementation process for info-graphics is pretty intensive, starting with the research process. Researching data is a very lengthy process of retrieving information that takes both time and dedication for pulling efficient and accurate data. The design team must be able to generate a concept and have a strong graphical impact that accurately displays the information in way that is logical, as well as fits with the overall design.

My company, DataJoe http://www.datajoe.com/ works with journal pubs who do the research side of data and data publishing. As a designer, I think it’s always refreshing to look at data in a graphically appealing visual aspect in addition to raw data.
