I was searching for a new laptop bag for daily use and i decided to share my findings with everyone…hoping to help someone in my same position.
I’m always on my bike so i love the messenger style but i like also the “classic” backpack.
Maybe the combination armor+messenger could be the best but i’m afraid about the weight.
And, obviously, i want somenthing cool… ;)

I had the Vyper from Booq for my old PowerBook. It was fantastic and though I really miss it, I haven’t gotten one for my new MBPro. These things are built to the EXACT specifications of the laptop model, so it fits like a glove. Unfortunately, they are so exact that in most cases, it won’t fit any other model.
The construction on the Vyper is built to last a lifetime… so it will definitely outlive your laptop but probably be useless after.
The Civilian Radiator looks like a much better option for the money – sleeve w/ handles and ventilation. Too bad it is only in 13″.

I liked the radiator one but its too costly…

Timbuk2 has a nice bag, I made one white-blue-white for my white macbook

only issue is the flap is curling on the bottom, but the fit is snug and very light. Dirt resistant as well, and the logitech bluetooth mouse fits perfectly in the mouse? pouch.

That Ultra-slim Backpack you’ve shown looks ultra-cool. It reminds me of those bullet-proof vests worn by law-enforcement. Now, if I can only find one made from Kevlar I think we’ll have a solution for our SWAT teams who need to Twitter before kicking some butt.
These bags are really cool. Kind of expensive but i guess its becoming kind of a fashion statement then just a laptop carrying case.

These are all great! I’ve got a laptop computer backpack from Briggs & Riley – Glide-Backpack VB414. It has given me great value for the money spent. I love the innovative functional designs and the stylish look. Organized compartments carry everything I need! I love the special tech section with two elastic pockets for storing my cables and cords. The computer sleeve fits my 15†laptop perfectly!
